Inverawe: Where Scottish Heritage Meets Quiet Luxury
Tucked into the gentle hills of Argyll, Inverawe was born from a simple idea: that food made with time, care and genuine warmth will always be something special. Since 1974, the Campbell-Preston family has poured heart and craft into creating beautifully smoked fish and fine Scottish foods, inspired by the landscape and the traditions that surround them.
What began with Robert and Rosie Campbell-Preston by the banks of the River Awe soon became a name synonymous with depth of flavour, authenticity and understated luxury. Their approach was never hurried; fish was salted by hand, rested slowly, and gently smoked over real oak — allowing nature, instinct and time to do the work.
A Family Legacy, Shared With Care
Inverawe has always been more than a business. It is a family story woven through decades of resilience, creativity and dedication. Rosie and Robert built something lasting — a place where heritage, food and family blended together in the most natural way.
Today, their son Patrick continues to guide Inverawe with the same warmth and integrity that shaped its earliest years. Every hamper, every cut, every beautifully presented gift carries with it the spirit of that legacy.
The Essence of Scottish Luxury
