A lovely winter fruit cake, not too rich with lots of almonds and fruit. Traditionally made by Keiller's (the marmalade people) at some point in the 19th century in Dundee, it is easily recognisable by the almonds on top. A real Scottish favourite.
Ingredients: wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts.
Mixed Vine Fruit(25%)(Sultanas, Raisins, Currants & Sunflower Oil), Free Range Eggs, Wheat Flour, Butter(Milk), White Sugar, Flaked Almonds(7%) (Nuts), Mixed Peel (Orange, Lemon, Glucose Fructose Syrup, Salt, Sulphur Dioxide), Cherries(Cherries, Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Preservatives: Sulphur Dioxide, Acidity Regulator: Citric Acid, Fruit & Vegetable Juice for Colour), Zest of Orange, Glaze, Bicarbonate of Soda.
