Salsa for Smoked Meats

This goes brilliantly with all cold meats


  • Half a Paw-Paw
  • 1 Mango
  • 2 Kiwi Fruit
  • Finely chopped red onion
  • Finely chopped red and green chilli
  • Olive Oil
  • Grated rind and juie of 1 lime
  • Roughly chopped fresh corriander


  1. Half the paw-paw, scoop out the black seeds and peel, dice and put in bowl
  2. Slice a ripe mango down each side of the flat stone, peel and dice the flesh adding it to the papaya.
  3. Peel and dice 2 ripe kiwis and add to the fruit mix
  4. Add the finely chopped red onion and a little chopped fresh red and green chilli.
  5. Toss the salsa with 2-3 tablespoon olive oil and the grated rind and juice of 1 lime
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Add some chopped fresh coriander if you like

To Serve

Serve a generous spoonful of salsa with a selection of Inverawe smoked meats as a starter.
