Smoked Sauted Brie

A wonderful easy way to entertain

Ingredients

  • 226g Ripe Smoked Brie
  • 75g White Breadcrubs
  • 40g Grated parmesan
  • 2 Eggs beaten with 2 tbls milk
  • Light Olive Oil
  • 3 tbls Fresh Chopped Parsley
  • Zest of 1 lemon and 1 lime
  • 2 Cloves Garlic finely chopped
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Paste something nice over me

Method

  1. Cut Smoked Brie into small triangles and leave in fridge for 2 hours.
  2. Mix breadcrumbs and Parmesan together
  3. Dip the Brie into the egg mixture, and then the breadcrumb mix, coating the cheese well.
  4. Place on plate to chill in fridge for another hour.
  5. For dressing, mix all the remaining ingredients together.
  6. When nearly ready to eat, heat the oil in frying pan until hot.
  7. Fry the brie for about 50 seconds on each side until golden.
  8. Drain on kitchen paper.

To Serve

Serve immediately on a bed of lettuce with the dressing and lovely hot crusty bread.
